not sure where you are from but in my country female students get better grades than male students

Don't single out female students. The reasons they fail are the same as the reasons for boys.
At the top of the list would be:
Parents are not emphasizing the importance of an academic education.
You can add on ancillary factors such as:
Too much interest in what is on TV, cutting into home studying time.
Distractions such as long telephone calls reduce the effectiveness of study time.

Since the 1980s in the United States women have achieved baccalaureate level degrees at higher levels than men. Not coincidentally, many of the top U.S. colleges enroll a higher proportion of women than men.
In some areas, such as the hard sciences, research has indicated that *some* teenage girls who were previously strong in math and sciences exhibit a decrease in grades. Most researchers agree, however, that this phenomena is due more to the way society treats and perceives women in the hard sciences rather than any intrinsic lack on the part of the girls.

As a former university lecturer (so I was a student before that!) I found women to be equal to if not better than the men academically. They are more motivated, brighter and more willing to put in the extra effort it takes to get the high grades. I too find your comments a bit offensive. Are you sure you're not trying to find excuses for your own performance?

If this is true,you should lead a campaign or something to fix this problem.
Sorry,I may have wasted your time but this answer,but in my country,female students are equal-or even better,to their male colleagues.
