yes. even though no one was there when the tree fell down or to hear it it did fall down and did make a sound.

it totally fell. The question is, did it make a noise?...the dilemma being in that if a noise isn't heard by anything, then it's not technically audible. Therefore, it doesn't really make a noise, does it?
