There's a lot of ways to take that question. Democracy, artistic stuff, philosophy (which was later incorporated into religion, according to my humanities class), literature, and so on.

I can't quite answer the question for you, but since it's a dbq, try to let the docs guide you through your response. Don't think of stuff and try to make the documents relate to your ideas. Try to read through the documents, see how they relate to one another, and try to draw ideas from what's given to you.
