Did they treat you like you were special, did they ignore you or just indifferent and let you on your way in life alone?

no matter what my brother does, he NEVER gets in trouble. he can mouth off, be a butthead (Lol) or anything, and he NEVER gets in trouble. i just do ONE little thing and i get in trouble. my mom gives me a list of chores to do automatically or fusses at me. but not my brother. it's soo annoying

Well, my mother did what she thought was her best and my sorry _ss excuse for a sperm donor did absolutely nothing. Sometimes I think I had kids just to prove that I could be a better parent than either of them. So far my kids have never been physically, verbally, or sexually abused so I'm already ahead of the game.

My mom constantly told me how smart I was, how loving I was, and how pretty I was. She was my biggest...NO...my ONLY cheerleader. Boy do I miss her. She died 3 years ago.
My father was a great listener, but more apt to tell me I "couldn't" do certain things. If I had listened to him, I would have given up most of the time.
My mother made me feel invincible. I was never spanked or abused, or insulted by my parents. They were good, smart, people.

My parents are long gone, Mother treated me well but was extra strict and father did not care to see me at all.
