What human would subject themself to this? Besides, a human probably couldn't produce enough offspring in a lifetime to make the test reliable.

If answer C really says "humans" then that's the wrong answer.

D is right, in genetics we crossed unknown genotype fruit flies with known genotype fruit flies to help determine their genotypes blah blah blah.

Anyhow, we don't do crosses with humans. They get crabby when we try :P

The answer is C. The test cross is used when you do not know the genotype of one parent.
