Being prejudiced about something and being a racist are two different things.
Racism is commonly defined as a belief or doctrine where inherent biological differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, with a corollary that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
Prejudice is, as the name implies, the process of "pre-judging" something.

The problem with Al Sharpton is he is not for basic plain "human rights". I mean he walks around like he is the national spokesperson for all black people(which he isn't) and calls everyone a racist. Yes, sometimes racist people do exist even in the 21st century and some acts are racially motivated. However, the one reason that Sharpton will never be taken seriously by America(including a good number of blacks) is because he isn't for human rights, he just waits until something happens to a black person and bursts out with a racist claim. There is nothing wrong with being more concerned about your community or the people who have the same experience as you because that's natural, but all his clams of running for this or that will never be taken seriously because as much good as he probably could do is run over by his insatiable desire to label everyone who isn't black a racist.
