Not just one year but childhood up to the age of 12. Lived in a small Buckinghamshire village in the 1950's. Didn't realise it then but we were cocooned in an idyllic carefree environment where we could roam freely with no worries and find out about life naturally. We had rafts on the brook, learnt to swim in the pond, built trolleys from wood and old pram wheels, built tree houses. We rode on farm tractors and trailers, made catapults, bows and arrows, pea shooters out of cow parsley. Found out about relationships life and sex without magazines and Video's. I was so lucky, it was another world but one I will never forget.

We can always look back and say we were hapier then because we forget the bad day to day stuff and tend to remember only the nice bits. I think I am fairly happy now, otherwise aged from 15 to about 25 was a very happy time for me because I was young, attractive and healthy. Had no real worries, didn't know what life had in store for me, and during those years I had my son .I was an army wife so was always taken care of even when hubby was away. The squadron became your family and was very very closely knit.
The times between 25 and about 5 years ago were not very pleasant for me in the main. Lots of bad stuff happened . For the last 5 years I have been fairly content with my life although perhaps not exactly happy.

There have been two ages for me (one covers ten years)that I would say were the happiest!
1 The years from birth to 10, because I didn't know how shitty life could get then!
2 55 My age now! I've learned to take the rough with the smooth.
and never to worry about either!
My philosophy is simple so you may like to try it>
I can't alter Yesterday! I can't predict or prevent Tomorrow! So I dont worry and live each day I'm given!
No worries = Happiness
I'd like to spare you the 55 years it took to learn this!

Thats a really nice question to ask. I think my happiest age so far was 30, because after 5 years of trying for a baby, Reuben finally was born and he's adorable. I'm really enjoying the privilege of being a stay at home mum and doing lots of home made activities with him.

When i hit 30........ i spent the morning in bed doing a rachel grieving for the loss of my youth i was beyond help .. i really thought my life was over .
However i went out for a drink with the girls after slight protest and realised i could have fun as i was wiser and could afford to do sooo much more..
I am having the time of my life 3 years on and still feel like a kid

defenetly when i was 13 was the happiest year of my life. i changed schools and there i found new real friends. i still talk to them and see them. when i think back i realise that ive been just a little kid but then i thought that im really mature and all that crap. but after a year and a half i moved to another country and i really missed me mates and then i realised that they are gonna be my best friends for life. i hated my teens but i dont mind my life now itz pretty good actually

15. the year was 1998. brimful of asha had just come out and i was listening to kula shaker, primal scream and radiohead. i had my first girlfriend and there was nothing cynical about the relationship; we went camping that summer. i smoked pot for the first time. great. my dad had installed this new thing on my computer called the 'internet'. i went on a school trip to paris and it became my favourite place in the whole world
19-22 were great years too, i was in uni. life is still good but that year just has special resonance and significance for me

7 years old. I didnt care about anything I rode my bike played football, fed the ducks at the park with my grandad. I watched my team win the FA cup at Wembley in 1987 with my dad. I didnt care about a thing. I didnt even really have a concept of people dying. Everything seemed perfect.

Right here, right now. After a not too good childhood, and a dazed late teens and early twenties - things are getting better and better. The best thing is its all through my own doing.
Yes, quite content at the moment. :-) (Touch wood!!)
