I have a pair of heels with a strap across the back of my foot above the heel. No matter how often I wear them or if I put them up for a while, the next time I wear them, I bleed where the straps rub my skin. I've tried placing a band-aid between my skin and the strap, and loosening and tightening the straps, but this doesn't work. Does everybody have this problem?

Okay, I should mention that the reason the band-aid doesn't work is because it gets rubbed off.

Yes! I bought a pair of gorgeous shoes and the back of the strap was texturized in a ruching sort of way. Well, it just about tore me up! I bought this stuff at the drug store called "moleskin" (sounds gross I kno). It is a padded nude piece of foam that you cut to size and put whereever the shoe is bothing you. Dr. Scholl's makes it. It stick right on your foot and if you cut it skinny enough to fit behind the strap, no one will ever know. I'm telling you, BUY IT. It sounds weird, but you will be happy. works MUCH better than the band-aid.

yeah, some shoe material is just horrible and it CUTS the skin! u have to be careful in choosing.... many women wear heels so much that they develop Callouses in those areas (back of the heel, the toes...) so it doesn't hurt as much. if a bandaid doesn't work, i suggest getting a new pair w/ softer/better quality material. i love shoes w/ the strap in the back...

also, i saw at DSW (huge shoe store) these gel things that u can put at the back of a shoe so it doesn't cut into ur skin....maybe they'll have something for straps? good luck~

it may just be the shoe. you may just have to opt to no longer wear those shoes and instead find a pair your feet and legs can get along with. generally if you try a shoe on and it feels like it's cutting into the skin (as far as straps go) it won't get better with wear.

ok i have never bled because of a shoe. try buying some without a strap. maybe the material is too rough. im a dancer and i try buying heels that dont have any rough or hard materials. like hard leather or with a zipper in the back.

regrettably you're in only a sprint a seize 22 project. the only factor you're no longer doing that anybody with the project of swelling ft and ankles could discover ways to do is walk. Like that's the 1st factor on your checklist of priorities. And the quantity of water you drink is massive yet whilst your physique has desperate it is going to hold water, eating that quantity is only giving ammo to the sniper. i do no longer opt to easily say cope with it yet, there is not any longer a superb purchase left to do. look on the vivid side, it is going to get extra effective quickly. the top is in sight. desire quite everyone seems to be, and maintains to be, healthy and satisfied.

Get a new pair of shoes, there's nothing you can do about it.
