ok, so alot of the guys in the 7th grade (the hot ones) ALWAYS end up liking the 8th graders! like, today i told someone i liked him, and he said 'sorry, i already like an 8th grader.' and like there are PLENTY of hot girls in the 7th grade. why do the hot guys like 8th graders????
and don't tell me that i am to young or w/e, because i'm not. and only answer seriously, bc i NEED TO KNO! i made a fool outta myself once, and i don't wanna do it again!

If this is happening with a lot of the guys, then it is probably the "cool" thing to do right now to like an 8th grade girl. Don't worry, next week the cool thing will be to like something new. Boys are weird in 7th grade because they are about to hit puberty!
Maybe you should show off and date an 8th grade boy! Then the 7th grade boys may get jealous :)

Look boys should be the least of your concern right now. Focus on you and only you. You are all thats important. Boys will be attracted to you if you are confident and don't get down by making a fool of yourself. Yes you are young, but you shuld know now before you grow up-enjoy your life and dont worry about boys-they come and go like seasons and the older you get the faster time goes by. Have fun and enjoy the princess in you. Spoil yourself and be confident and you will have to bring a stickl with you everywhere to knock all the boys off!! Plus BOYS=TROUBLE (and sometimes babies-which is not always good)

Maybe because the girls in 8th grade are doing things the girls in 7th grade aren't doing....if you know what I mean. Because in every grade their are hot girls/guys. So that's the only logical conclusion I can think of. So don't be all upset because the 7th grade boys aren't paying you any attention. If may be a good thing. Concentrate on getting good grades and staying out of trouble. You will have a lifetime to try to figure out boys. Trust me....I know!!

Men always want what the prettiest and nicest looking. I am assuming that by 8th grade some of those girls are beginning puberty and they are older. some guys like to brag about being with older guys. The fact is a year or two make no difference at your age. In high school the boys will not care about your age and you will be discussing how disgusting guys are..LOL

Well, sorry to say but you are to young. Why not be with your girlfriends and enjoy making fun of boys like most girls your age. Boys will always be boys, either at 13 or 33. they all want the same thing being seen with the hot girl, big deal. gives them a boost and most of them are rude and obnoxious. Boys like the older girls because it makes them feel like a bigshot, very imature. Don't worry you'll be breaking hearts before you know it. Stay young, don't get a reputation at such a young age. it will follow you. boys also have a big mouth, makes up for all of their other small parts.

Well for one the guys don't think with their head, they think with their d**ks. But knowing how hot the 7th graders are you will find someone. Just be patient or next year you will be in the 8th grade and it will be your turn. SO just go by your rat killing and talk to the guys don't tell them your interested till you know they are. But I know you'll find someone. So don't fret and keep your chin up and thrust them hips from side to side while walking and your will see some eyes pop ut soon.

BECAUSE THE OLDER GIRLS SEEM LIKE THEY ARE MORE UNTOUCHABLE. BY THE TIME YOU ARE IN HIGHSCHOOL IT WILL BE DIFFERENT. I DATED AN 18 YEAR OLD WHEN I WAS IN 9TH GRADE, THEN I DATED A GUY THAT WAS 19 WHEN I WAS 15, AND RIGHT BEFORE I TURNED 17 I STARTED DATING A GUY THAT WAS 24. NOT THAT I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD, BUT TRUST ME AS YOU GET OLDER YOU'LL SEE, THE GUYS YOUR AGE WILL START DATING YOUNGER GIRLS, BECAUSE ALL OF THE GIRLS THAT ARE THEIR AGE WILL BE DATING OLDER GUYS. ANOTHER REASON IS BECAUSE GUYS IN 7TH GRADE THINK THAT OLDER GIRLS WILL MOVE FASTER.

First of all, I teach Middle School. All I hear about all day long is who is "hooking up" with who. Liking someone is ok. When middle schoolers say they are "in love," it amazes me. But anyway, from what I've seen, these guys like to lean towards older and "more mature" girls to get them a girlfriend or more popularity. It's kind of silly, but what isn't nowadays. Good luck.

well honey....think about it....they're BOYS !!!!! ya can't figure them out. i would think that the reason would be ...they think if a gal is OLDER than they are ....they might get lucky. i would suggest that you find yourself a HOT 8th grader. girls are always more mature than boys. so, go for the older guys. good luck sweetie. b/c guys want older girls b/c they think they are mature abd younger girls arent and boy they have a shocker it doesnt matter the age it has how the girl acts just you know act like you have a brain be yourself dont try to emprase them let them see you for you and by the way you are to young to have a b/f i should know i am 7 years older than you i didnt start dating til i was 15
