I live in Mexico and have watched them. The plots tend to be always the same, poor girl who falls in love with rich guy, they love each other and fight against the whole world to save their love. I think it's really a waste of time watching them. I also think they cause many problems in society since young girls watch them and try to imitate certain attitudes shown by the caracters in the soaps...However, I liked two soaps:
Cuna de Lobos
Imperio de Cristal
Those two had a different plot.

Sorry, don't know the names but we have several Mexican channels and they are about the same as the Amerian soap operas. I watch them sometimes because I try to learn Spanish. There is one in particular that looks very funny.

I saw Tres Mujares on Univision, I don't really understand spanish, from what I can tell, the Mexican Soaps are aimed at a younger audience than english soaps and deal with more sexual content.
