I have reason to think they would make a unique ground cover around a raised garden pond. I'm lead to expect they tolerate the East Tennessee climate.

Edible cranberries grow in bogs, so I assume you are looking for the ornamentals, right? Check with your local nursery. If they are appropriate to your growing zone, someone wil carry them.
