I am trying to think of some good but original present(s) to get my boyfriend but besides the normal cologne etc. and really expensive things my mind is blank

Get him tickets for both of you to go to a play (theater).
Then there are the crass gifts:
- get yourself some very sexy lingerie and model it for him
- give the gift of yourself
However.. i wouldn't recommend these last 2 unless you have had dsicussions about such topics and have decided that is what you want to do.. I added them for pure comical releaf. ;)

video games, a hat, gift certificates, books, dvds, clothes, if he has an ipod accessories for it, if he doesn't you could get him one, cell phone accessories...
