Uranium is an element and does not have any pros and cons.
However, the USE of uranium as a power supply, which is what I think you mean, has benefits and problems.
Benefits -
Cheap, cleaner than fossil fuels, long-lasting
Problems -
Radioactive forever, highly toxic/poisonous, must refine it to use it, where do you dispose of it?, "not in my back yard" syndrome for location of nuclear plants

Here's some places you can go for some info.... think of the pro's as what advantages we can get from it (fuel, energy, etc...) cons... well, it is a primary component to the atom bomb....)
for instance: cons:
"The most serious health hazard associated with uranium mining is lung cancer due to inhaling uranium decay products. "
On the Wikipedia site, check out the characteristics (for pros) and the hazards for 'cons'... there may even be some cons under the characteristics part (ie: density could be considered a pro or a con potentiallly)
Good luck

Pros:
- the long half-life makes it good for estimating the ages of the earliest igneous rocks and other forms of radio dating
- The isotope U-238 is used for radiation sheilding (ironic!)
- Can be used as counterweights for aeroplane controls
- Can be used to detect groundwater
- Will denitrogenise steel
- Can be re-used as a power source
- Is an alloying agent in steels to make it stronger
Cons:
- Some isotopes are highly radioactive and therefore dangerous
- These radioisotopes can meltdown
- The radioactive uranium is not green or glowing (more of a disappointment, really)
Hope this helps.

Uranium is much tastier than plutonium ... Just kidding ...
Do you mean in nuclear power generation, weapons, etc? If you mean power generation, try

If the context is weapons, try this link ...
