Met with old girlfriend last monday evening for intercourse. I wore a condom (it did not break) and I did not c*m; in fact, I have never been able to c*m when i am wearing a condom. So she calls me this weekend to tell me that she's worried that she might have have missed her period. I ask when it was supposed to be and she says she thought it might be this past weekend but not positive of days (dont women have an idea). the idea of not knowing her days really freaked me out. And this might sound bad, but it wouldn't surprise me if she has maybe slept with someone else earlier this month.

she has agreed to take a home pregnancy test today. if she takes it now, what is the likelihood that its accurate? thanks in advance.

if it was just last monday, then the chances that it is your kid is slim, but possible. If you used protection then I dought it is your kid. I would suggest she take a test, but don't sign a birth cert unless blood work is done first. good luck

Sounds like she is feeling out your reaction to see if you will run or not. Yes most consciencious woman know exactly when their period starts. If she gets an in home pregnanct test and it comes up positive I do not think it would be from you. A week is not usually enough time for her body to register the pregnancy. Write down the date of your sexual encounter with her put it someplace you won't throw it out or lose it. You may need this infomation later on. It also sounds like she already knows she is pregnant and is trying to trap someone into being the father because the real father is not around anymore. Just be careful. If she was supposed to have had her period this past weekend then if she is pregnant it cannot possibly be yours it does not work like a faucet. That close to her period date she would probably still go through a period it would just be lighter than normal.

ok look this is the deal. If you went over there last monday and even if you did *** in her last monday and didn't wear a condom and she was supposed to have her period this past weekend then~~~~THE BABY AIN'T YOURS!!! so it don't matter if she's preg. or not.....if this is the only time you allhad sex then it's not yours...

See~~~ a woman has her period every 21 or every 28 days. She can only get pregnant during ovulation which is: for woman w/ periods of 21 days ovulation is around days 8-12 from her last period or with a woman w/ periods of 28 days ovulation is around days 12-16 from her last period. Exp. If I have my period on the 1st of Dec. and I'm on a 28 day cycle then I will ovulate somewhere between Dec. 12-16th. Those are the only days I can get preg. the whole month. Every woman is the same no one is different. Then her period would have been scheduled to come on again on the 28th of the month and the whole process starts over again, unless she misses that period, then she is pregnant (but that's a whole almost 2 weeks from her ovulation days) START CALCULATING!!!

So if yall just has sex and now a few days later she is saying she missed her period and she is preg. it's impossible for it to be yours cause you would have had to have had sex with her about 2 weeks before she ever missed her period.

To make it easy... any time a woman says she is preg. with your child ask her what her cycle time is (every woman knows it's either 28 or 21 days) then ask yourself this question: did i have sex with this woman 10 or 14 days before the days she says that her period was supposed to come on? If she missed her period that was scheduled for the 15th of Nov. Count back from there and see if you remember being with her. It's simple!

It should be pretty accurate by now, as long as you dont get a cheap shiitty one. Apparently they work about 2 or 3 days before the period, I was 9 days pregnant when I found out. But if you didnt come, and wore a condom, I wouldnt think you would have very much to worry about. You should be right

Generally women have an Idea of about when there period is due. Unless they are that irregular, if she is not pregnant she can get on birth control to help with that. It may be to early to test, but do it anyway to find out. Even if it comes out negative wait a week or two and test again. Good Luck.

Well, I can assure you that if you just had sex last monday, then the test will not be positive yet.

Usually a woman ovulates 2 weeks before her period. Then about a week after, the baby would implant. Then and only then, would you be able to receive a positive on a test.

And sometimes that's still too early. I would suggest you have her test next week.

a pregnancy test is accurate as long as she is sure about her cycle dates. also the lack of a cycle or lateness there of could be due to stress or extra activity that the girls body is not used to. I for example went without a cycle for a whole year and a half after my first born and the doctor said that it was due to my petite build a condition called Amenorrhea I think I spelled that right. And if YOU are certain about your safety and she ends up positive just wait it out until you can get testing. Hope all goes well

She should wait until morning to take a test, it's the most accurate time. But if she doesn't know her days, it's hard to say when would be too early. She could be pregnant, but if the facts you stated about your experience with her are true, I don't think it's possible you're the father.

Home pregnancy tests are not reliable this early after a missed period. At least ten days should have passed before negative means negative (depending on the test used).

Just tell her to repeat it in a week or so if it is negative.

"YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER" based on your report.

we'll it would help to know when her period is suppose to be but heres the skinny......2 weeks is standard to wait to take a home pregnancy test (hpt) it takes that long for her to build up enough of the pregnancy hormone (HGC)....in my opinion if you use a condom and u didn't *** then I don't think you could be the daddy UNLESS the condom leaked and some pre-ejaculate came out then it is a possibility....

The test will likely be accurate. However, if she is pregnant, it is likely not yours. It usually takes a couple of weeks after ovulation to show positive.
