Please go to the emergency room! You are 18 weeks and if you are in labor the doctors may be able to stop the labor. If you wait too long than it won't be an option.
When I was about 16 weeks pregnant I had the same experience. I called the nurse at the hospital and she told me to come in right away. I did and they did a number of non-invasive tests and it turned out that I had a problem with my colon (luckily and not a miscarriage) and was given medication, however, PLEASE go the emergency room to rule everything out. Don't think that the staff will be annoyed with you if everything is fine (and hopefully that will be the case) the hospital staff are there for you!

i change into instructed that muscle cramps on your legs will be brought about through lack of calcium and magnesium. Calcium is healthier taken at evening, so I take some pills earlier sleep and in straight forward words in certain cases get leg cramps now. seek for meals wealthy in magnesium too. so a approaches because the menstrual-like cramps i might want to assume that is purely your uterus twitching and stretching and getting waiting for labour in the arriving weeks. attempt to gently rubdown the floor and bypass for walks. This facilitates to get each and every thing shifting and also you ought to (with somewhat of success) have a lot less cramping. sturdy success!

ok i think you need to go to the dr. now! dont think miscarrige think pre-term labor! i was so stressed out with my son. I started PTL around 20 weeks but i didnt know what the pain was. when i was 26 weeks i almost had my son. but i was put on strict bedrest. i had my son at 32 weeks. he still came out early. so try to stay calm and remember its not a miscarrige you should worry about its PTL you should really try to avoid. Being in the NICU with your babies and other babies isnt very fun. But try not to be stressed. I saw tons of babies there in the NICU born only at 20 or 22 weeks and there fine now. I hope everything goes ok with you and your babies. Good Luck!

...I have period like cramps all the time....put your 17 month old down for a nap...eat a snack and relax...try laying on your left side.(sometimes the baby or in your case babies...lay on nerves that cause these cramps..layin on your left side will shift them away from that nerve and ease the tention) as far as the stress goes...you need to figure out what is going to make it go away...(easier said than done I know) but..your only 18 weeks and this stressed out and look what its doing to your body..good luck sweetie

If you are having cramps (especially with contractions of your abdominal wall) at regular intervals you need to see your OBGYN/emergency room.

This could be a sign of pemature labour (especially if with a multiple pregnancy).

It may also be a urinary tract infection.

Take care.
