This company has spent 21 years in product developement and saves people thousands of dollars and provides quality products because they do not spend millions on ads and depend on the customers to refer others. From my heart I tell you that it is remarkable what I have seen. Doctors and top heart sugeons cannot figure out why my friends dad only lost his big toe and his circulation came back after being told he would lose one limb after another and then die because of adult diabetes. He was also taken off some heart medication by his doctors due to lowered Cholesterol. Professional athletes use the products and so does fashion designer Nicole Miller. I wish everyone would know about this incredible company because of what I have seen but the rules are by referral with a 30 minute presentation so you understand the products and that makes sense. For some reason we are so used to doctors giving us drugs I think we forget that they are just giving a refferal to drugs and drug companies have a relationship with doctors so what's the difference. I see lives change every day all around me because of this company and hope that you will take a look and at least know what you may be saying no to.email me if you would like to be referred, I cannot help that this is how it is done and that yahoo will not allow links but we want to see if we can help. We do not want answers like this because we pre-judge and are used to million dollar TV commercials and pop a pill but we honestly have seen people helped and want to try our best to help you too. Many blessings. email available on profile.

Alive Multivitamins help your body work better all around.
As for cholesterol, Garlic suppliments. Get a really high quality kind at the Vitamin Shoppe or somewhere similar. Also Soy works. Drink a glass of soy milk a day with instant breakfast and it really helps the heart and cholesterol. Add oatmeal to your diet and that too should help. Soy milk is all unsaturated fat so it shouldn't clog your arteries, unlike regular milk. In fact, switch to soy alltogether...they have a huge variety of flavors. Vanilla is the best, 8th Continent Vanilla in particular. They also have chocolate. Soy is really one of the best things for your heart. Take that and an alive vitamin and see how it goes!

Fruits and vegetables are always a prime choice over fatty foods as far as your health goes. However, there are some foods that can actually reduce the amount of cholesterol your body generates. Soy protein, oats and barley, nuts, olive oil, and fish can all help dramatically reduce your cholesterol.
* For a faster, more dramatic attack on cholesterol levels, a simple diet for lowering cholesterol should be implemented. It is not that difficult of a change for anyone. Of course, fried foods and red meats should be pushed aside for fish and white meats.
* Margarine should be used in place of butter. Fruits and vegetables should be consumed at every meal to reduce hunger and take the place of a more inappropriate food. Citrus fruits, berries, sweet potatoes, and carrots are especially effective in lowering cholesterol.
Cholesterol lowering recipe
* There are many cholesterol lowering recipe books available at any public bookstore. These recipes will often utilize olive oil in place of butters and starch oils. Also, they will take advantage of lighter foods and different cooking methods to draw the fat out of foods while cooking.
Exercise
* A little exercise goes a long way. Even as little as twenty minutes per day three days per week of walking or jogging increases blood circulation, improves coronary function, and promotes healthy living. If jogging or walking is not up your alley, you might try playing a little basketball or throwing a baseball around. Any type of physical activity is helpful, but it is equally important not to over-exert yourself.
* Avoid foods with saturated fats and high calories. Red meats and fried foods are especially dangerous for those with cholesterol problems.

Lots of good stuff here already; I have several friends who heard you should drink a glass of red wine a day, tried it and after awhile were actually able to stop taking their prescription meds (with Dr approval). Unless you're an alcoholic (stay away from this, in that case) it's worth a try.

I am not sure if you would believe this or not, but red wine with onions really help. I try it myself before, I didn't use it to lower my cholesterol, I just used it to lose weight, but it was recommanded by my friends, he used it for his choloesterol.
But you have to take it for at least 2 months.

porridge is one of the most carb dense foods there is lol. Ok if you want to look good i would start a weights program now because it takes quite some time to build muscle and it will help you lose fat, also your body needs carbs to make muscle tissue so if you were to go on a low carb diet you would find it hard to gain muscle and it make you feel horrid.
