When my cousin got her marriage license she got married in city hall but somebody told me that if you fill forms that's enough.

You have to obtain the marriage license before you can get married. Then you have an authorized person perform the ceremony and have the license signed by the individual and the witnesses.

Then you file the properly annotated license to obtain the marriage certificate.

You do not have to get married in city hall when you get your marriage license. You get marriage license for the record of the city. You get your license at the court house and the minister that marries you signs them and sends them to the appropriate place.

No you get your marriage license and get married where you choose. Marriage in the courthouse is just if you want a justice of peace that is on duty.

No....you do not marry first then get your license. You get your license & then get married. Where you choose to marry is up to you.

NO. you just go to the court house and they will give you the lisence there.
