Yahoo is better than Google. Google is getting ready to drop the answers anyway. Google can always be used as a research by typing it into your browser if you think that the service can provide more options...But Yahoo usually does just as well...

yeah, it was in the paper that Yahoo's Answers service has generated over 24 times as much revenue as Google's. Yahoo has had 160 million questions asked and answered, google has had about 800.

google requires payments for their answers service.

both indexed thousands of web pages
it's very tough to compare
it depends upon which kind of information u need.......
for example:
if u search for this in yahoo u will get a lot and also in google
but yahoo has very good service that is yahoo answer
in which u can ask this type of question
if u search this in google u will get some data not a complete information

There are differences between Google and Yahoo... as search engines go.... google wins hand down... as community and content centralization portal, Yahoo wins.... so it depends on what you really looking for. For me... I love Google.

Test it's relevance yourself. Take a search term and see what kind of results you get on both.

Personally I like google better. For one when I go to www.google.com by default I don't get all kinds of junk, just a search box and two buttons. When I go to www.yahoo.com I get a very visually busy (and displeasing in my opinion) page full of stuff I don't want to look at like advertising. I also find gmail and google calendar much easier to navigate and use. Check it out.

As a search engine? Yes. Without question.
If you take the stuff around it's more or less
a question of taste of how you want information
to be presented.
