If you have already set up your wireless network and everything is working flawlessly, then, clearly, these no need to run the CD that came with the router. Otherwise, feel free to run the CD if you are having problems with setting up your wireless network.

It is always a good idea to install it because if you forget you router's ip address, that software will be your only way to acces the router's config without resetting everything.
