if the noise is on a left hand turn it is most likely to be the right hand bearing,when you turn left the weight all goes to the right hand side causing the noise to be greater. jack it up and spin both rear wheels and see which one is noisy

D McC is right. Wheel bearings can easily fool you. Rear wheel bearings are easy to replace though, and cheap. It's the front drive bearings that are expensive.

iv'e been fooled before, just jack it up and spin the wheels
