dont let anybody freak you out. It is normal for their not to be a heartbeat detectable until about 8-10 weeks..so dont freak out...just chill...stress isnt good for the baby...My doctor couldnt find my baby's heartbeat until 10 weeks.

a lot less puzzling stated than finished, yet i does no longer supply it a 2d idea. do not (attempt no longer to) worry about it. the baby remains very small, and has a great number of room to be floating round, shifting into all styles of humorous positions, dealing with in any direction, and it truly is the reason the dr did not listen the pulse. You stated she felt your uterus, so for sure you've been measuring 14 weeks, and the baby might want to be starting to be effective. She might want to have instructed you if she idea it change into unusual. My dr doesn't continuously listen my infant's heartbeat directly both, and that i'm 28 wks. in the journey that your dr change into worried, or in the journey that your uterus change into small for the dimensions of being pregnant, she might want to have purely ordered an ultrasound. So attempt to loosen up, infant is effective. Congratulations on your being pregnant.

It's common. Sometimes the uterus shape, the women's shape, the placement of the sack in the uterus can all be factors on how early a heart tone can be heard. I heard our daughters at about 7 weeks and this ones at about 6 weeks, but I always carried very low and figured that was a factor. Relax and wait it out, I am sure everything is fine! Good Luck with the pregnancy!

it is not uncommon to not be able to hear a heartbeat at 6 wks. Many don't show till 8 weeks. Worry if the doctor says to don't worry if the doctor says not to.

Well, what did your doctor -- or the person doing the ultrasound -- say about this? The medical professional in this case is ALWAYS your best source on interpreting test results, rather than the peanut gallery on Yahoo answers!
How about calling your doctor right now and asking whether this is a sign for concern? You have the right to have your questions answered, you know.

I can hardly imagine how small the baby's heart would be at 6 weeks. I wouldn't worry - it's not good for you or the baby.

yes its normal its hard to find the heart beat until 8 weeks. look at babycenter.com type in how many weeks you are and they will tell you all about the heart beat and what the baby is doing right now. good luck.

You should only hear a heart beat around 2-21/2 mths. I wouldn't get too nervous, but it never hurts to speak w/ ur dr. if u r uncertain.
