he is turning into one of the grumpy old men from harry enfield and i am thinking about getting him a beige cardy with leather patches on the elbows for xmas. he says im being cruel but im only teasing him. should i get him the cardigan or not?

ONly as a joke - check out Goodwill and Salvation Army. Take it to the cleaners and get an extra box from a department store to put it in before you wrap it.
Then hide the real gift in the inside pocket. Like a nice watch, a customized flask, cross necklace, sporting event tickets, or whatever he really wants.

I think as a gag gift it would be funny. As long as you also get him something nice so he doesn't feel insulted. my other 1/2 thinks he's the modern day Hugh Heffner, so I'm making him a big red velvet smoking robe, but I'm also gonna get him that tony hawk game for PS3 that he wants so bad.

no don't get the cardigan get him a portable DVD player hell enjoy that its something that when not wanting to listen to us women or outside fixing the car he can play a movie
