There are two songs called "Ave Maria." One is composed by Schubert, and the other one by Bach. They're both very well known songs, and I think they both have similar meanings, as a lot of the same Latin words and phrases appear in both songs. Celine Dion sings a popular rendition of Schubert's "Ave Maria" (in English), and The Carpenters do a popular rendition of Bach's "Ave Maria" (in Latin). I haven't found a rendition of Bach's "Ave Maria" in English yet, but Celine Dion does an excellent job of singing Schubert's "Ave Maria" in English.
Here's the exact lyrics I found for Celine Dion's Schubert "Ave Maria" on leoslyrics.com. They sound good to me, several other lyrics sites have lyrics that are totally wrong for this song, and from listening to the song I think these lyrics are pretty accurate:
Ave Maria!
Maiden mild!
Oh listen to a maiden's prayer
For thou canst hear amid the wild
'Tis thou 'tis thou canst save amid despair
We slumber safely till the morrow
Though we've by man outcast reviled
Oh Maiden see a maiden's sorrow
Oh Mother hear a suppliant child!
Ave Maria
Ave Maria gratia plena
Maria gratia plena
Maria gratia plena
Ave ave dominus
Dominus tecum
The murky cavern's air so heavy
Shall breathe of balm if thou hast smiled
Oh, Maiden, hear a maiden pleadin'
Oh, Mother, hear a suppliant child
Ave Maria
Ave Maria
That's it in English! Here's translation for the Latin words still in this version:
Ave Maria - Hail Maria
Gratia Plena - full of grace
ave ave dominus - hail hail Lord
dominus tecum - the Lord is with thee
I hope I've been able to help!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God; pray for us sinners.
Now and at the hour of our death, Amen
