There may be peace, but not everywhere on earth. I like to think that the holidays bring out goodwill in some, but by the looks of these brawls and fights in stores over presents, people are distorting the real meaning. In any case "peace on earth and good will toward men" is a mistranslation of the end of a Bible verse (Luke 2:14) from Latin -- «Gloria in excelsis (or "altissimus" in some versions) Deo et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis» which means «Glory to God in the highest and peace on earth to men of good will». - not quite the same thing as «goodwill toward men»

No, there will never be peace on Earth. But sometime soon, Jesus will come back to Earth, and take all His followers up to Heaven to live with Him in eternity. In Heaven there will be perfect peace, and beauty all around, and no pain or hate whatsoever. But on earth, no. If you give your life to Jesus and let Him take over your life, then when you die, you'll go to Heaven where there will be perfect peace.

There might be, but we will never know it. But personally, I don;t think so....
Unless the humans become extinct, which doesn't really matter here, since you said "good will towards MEN and WOMEN"
