I know Toni is no longer on the show but I missed how she got off. How was she written out of the script?

Jill Marie Jones (on the show played Toni Childs-Garrett) supposedly left under the assumption everyone was going to ask for more money in their contract or walk, but she was the only one. This is mostly hearsay, but who knows. As for the character Toni, she moved to New York so Morgan could be close to her father, Dr. Todd Garrett.
