Find an equation of the line passing through (2, -3) with an undefined slope. Write the equation in standard form.


Please help!!!!! Im struggling on this problem....

*Note that when the line is vertical the slope is undefined.
Vertical lines have the form x = c.
Therefore, since this line passes through (2, -3), the x value is 2, and the equation for this line is simply x = 2.

A line with an undefined slope is a vertical line, so it will be x = something. Since the point is (2, -3), 2 is in the x value. So the equation on your line is x = 2.
