i have kept drags for 18months.my eggs have been in incubator for 74 days.the incubator is a HERP NURSERY INKUBATOR.ITS GERMAN. temperture is kept at 34c substrute is vermiculite 100g water to100g vermirculite.is their a way i can check if their is life in eggs.thank you for your help. ps eggs look o k but getting nervise.

hold the egg up against the light to see if you can see any thing.

Yup, it's called candling.

Take a clean tupperware and put an inch of moist vermiculite in it, and make a little hole all the way to the bottom, the size of the egg. Put the egg in (be careful not to turn it over), and push the verm up around the eggs (but not over), turn off the lights, then take a small flashlight and hold it upwards, under the tupperware, shining into the egg. If you see red, or some blood vessels, your egg is fertile.

Or you can just turn the lights off, and point the flashlight directly downwards into the egg right inside the incubator, like in this picture:

Also, your eggs will rapidly start to mold and collapse and turn yellow if they aren't fertile.
