A bead is something that can be a 3-D shape with a hole straight throw the middle. A button is flat and has 2 or 4 small holes in the center. And you can use both in putting detail in to anything.

a bead is a desighned particles in desighning a cloth or creative stuffs whereas a button is used in shirts to keep the shrt properly and made for it (the shirs ) and can also be a form of desighn but in very low proportions!

beads are used for decoration on clothes, for necklaces and other things...... buttons are used to help keep pants, shorts shirts. sometimes purses closed... sometimes buttons are decorated with beads.
