If it can be proven without a doubt that a person is guilty of taking another persons life without justification, then that person should be put to death.

It is the only logical and civilized choice.

1.) Justice: if you steal $5, then you owe $5. You don't owe $1, $2, $3, or $4, you owe $5, the complete amount you stole. I don't think anyone can argue that that is the basic premise of justice. So if you take a life, you owe your own life, it is the only thing of equal value. Anything less (5 years, 10 years, 30 years) is less than you owe, and a mockery of justice.

2.) Safety: if you lock up murderers for life, then somebody has to guard them. You are endangering the lives of the guards, their fellow inmates, and your own children if they escape or are paroled. The death penalty is the only 100% way to ensure the safety of society. Allowing them to live is a stupid and unnecessary risk. If you let them live and they kill again, the blood of those victims is directly on your hands.

3.) Deterrence: it isn't a deterrent now, but it would be if it was used properly. In 2005 there were ~16,000 murders, but only 60 executions. Who is going to be deterred if there is a less than 1% chance that a murderer is actually going to be executed? If there were 16,000 executions then people would be deterred from murder because they would know it is a nearly 100% chance it will cost their own life.

The only overwhelmingly strong argument is that the recidivism rate for those who have been executed is zero. That said, I think the processes of differentiating between a death penalty and a life-without-parole sentence are such that on purely practical grounds it makes sense to just give up on the idea of perfecting the system and just abolish the death penalty, though I have no real moral objections to the concept.

Go with it. I fully agree with it if the person is with out a doubt guilty. It also gives the families of the victims some relief. I also feel child molesters should meet the bar too, I am all for capital punishment in any way that the judge or jurors see fit. Two thumbs up for Texas being the only state with the balls to stand up to the human rights #$%#s that have evidently never had a family member or close friend murdered for no reason......

When you find yourself on death row it then becomes an issue. If a human lies in wait, or plans and executes another Human, that one shall forfeit their life. That is called The Death Penalty.
Is it cruel. in many cases certainly. Is it just, in some cases it can be. Do I personally agree with it, not at all.

prisons are being filled with overwhelming prisoners with "crazy" sentences like 365 years in prison(same as life inprisonment) and since its being filled this must be put into order to show its reaction over the "future criminals" to put a stop in order to cause fear so that way less crime can happen

I feel like if a person murders another person, then they have lost their human rights and no longer deserve to be treated "humanely."

It's not good -- it costs more than keeping someone in prison, it's sexistic, racist, only the poor are subject to it, etc.
