I am trying to get an MP3 player for my son in law. Here is the criteria. Can someone help me.
1. Has to have 60 hrs or more battery time
2. USB to drag and drop
3. FM tuner and digital recorder
4. 1 gig or more memory
5. Has to be small and black - nothing fancy.

Thanks if you can help me.

I highly recommend Sandisk mp3 players. Their sound quality and fidelity is awesome!
If you also like the mp3/mp4 (videos and movies), you can also check out Sandisk Sansa E 250 (2 gig and expandible), E260 (4 gig and expandible), E270 (6 gig and expandible) or E280 (8 gig and expandible).
They are amazing! It's battery is of li-ion material and you charge it through a CA cable or the usb cable. The good thing is that you can also replace it easily.
On the other hand, it's black and it has a true TFT 1.8" screen. Go to ebay.com and you'll find lots and lots of those at very convenient prices. Good luck!

60 hours?!! I don't think any mp3 player has that long a battery life. Check out http://www.cnet.com/ or look at amazon.com for reviews of mp3 players. I have a 20GB ipod and the battery life is about 7 hours max. I'd also like a smaller mp3 player, ipods are kind of bulky. I'd check out Sony, I think they have good mp3 players.

60 hours of battery time is a lot. Try the iRiver players, the T10 series has 45hr battery life, FM tuner/FM recorder, USB drag & drop interface, largest model is 2GB, it is small, single AA batter, color is black.

Try getting him a ipod nano the black one... that's what i have and its awesome and easy to use. i think you will have a hard time finding a battery lifetime of 60 hours so i suggest getting a car charger as well... Good Luck
