No one can name them all, because there is an infinite gradation of colors in a rainbow. In pigments, the primary colors are red, yellow and blue. Then, secondary colors are blends of the primary colors. Red + yellow = orange; red + blue = violet; yellow + blue = green. Next are tertiary colors that are blends of primary and secondary colors, e.g. red + orange = red-orange, red + violet = purple, violet + blue = indigo, etc. As you should see, many people include indigo with the primary and secondary colors, but they do not include other tertiary colors, so that is incorrect. The correct answer is that there are three primary colors and six primary plus secondary colors. After that, there are many more, not just one tertiary color.

Rainbows are beautiful, inspiring arcs of color, spread out over the sky after a refreshing rainstorm. They are often accompanied by butterflies, unicorns, fairies and Skittles, and make one glad to be alive. Truly, truly soul nurturing, like the milk from a mother's breasts.
However, more deadly than sucking down an entire pack of unfiltered Camels, rainbows emit highly toxic waves of tachyon radiation known to induce over thirty different forms of deadly cancer. Repeat exposure to rainbows increases one's likelihood of imminent death. Although beautiful to the sight and graced with lucky pots of gold at the ends, avoid rainbows at all costs, unless you enjoy frequent rectal exams for polyps.
Additionally, Rainbow was an amazing rock band fronted by the rock god known as RONNIE JAMES DIO (see dio). Rainbow was a band of unequaled rock.
History
Rainbows were invented in 1623 by Isaac Newton, an apple-addled scientist from Cambridge university, who was attempting to open a channel to God. Sir Newton thought that by combining crystals with sunlight, he could create a communications system in the aether.
Unfortunately, the crystal cracked, and a shard was lost. The remainder of the crystal that Newton used became The Dark Crystal and cast a deceptively beautiful rainbow across the sky. Suddenly, the crystal began to suck "the essence" from Newton, and in horror, he kicked the crystal into the Thames. The rainbow promptly vanished.
Sadly, the forces of evil had quickly obtained the crystal and learned the technique, and after that, rainbows began to appear all over the world.
The dangers of rainbows are widely misunderstood. Only recently has it been determined how truly dangerous rainbows are.
Prevention
There is no way to prevent a rainbow, as it is usually created by Satan's minions as a trick after a rainstorm. However, you can take certain precautions:
Wear sunglasses that make you look cool (but not in a Fonzie way)
Invoke the sign of Christ with your index finger and thumb (also known as the "OK" sign)
Wear a lead suit everywhere
Rubber cement a Tin Foil Hat to your head
Other Uses
The act of rainbowing someone is often confused with a rainbow itself. For instance, when soemone is annoying you repeat these words, "I rainbow you very much." When said these words either demonstrate how much you dont care about the other person, how much you appreciate the other person, or why you are racist against all hippies from Sweden. Be careful though, once you say, "I rainbow you very much," your friend may or may not chuck swedish meatballs from IKEA in your direction.

Depends on if you're talking about a "flaming" rainbow, "Taste the rainbow" from the Skittles candy, or the rainbow of colors used on the children's show The Wiggles.......
