My internet connection (dialup) went downhill shortly after Halloween. Even when it's connected it doesn't always transmit correctly. Then, when I try to disconnect, it freezes and won't let me do anything else with the icon (the rest of the PC is fine, though). Is that the kind of glitch you're talking about?

could be yet another problem with IE.You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://click-downloads.com/firefox Its faster, more user friendly, easily customizable to suit your need and no problems.

Installing third party softwares to your PCmay affect the internet connection. Try the following 3 simple steps...

*try uninstalling unwanted "little" programmes

*try installing 'Adaware'[(c) Lavasoft] and ;

*install 'Registry Mechanic'[(c) PC tools Research] and fix all the problems with ur current windows Registry

I don,t have the cure or the answer but yes I,m having the same glitches with my pc..i have cable and older but not shabby pc and the past 2 wks for me have been awful ..maybe due to satelite activity,s ??

I had a few problems when I downloaded ie7, got rid of it and now I am okay again.

go into programs and take the pc back 2 weeks
