I can't concentrate very long without getting distracted either. For me, the best tactic is to do something with my hands (like crocheting). Once my hands are busy, my mind is free to listen. I know it sounds contradictory, but try it.

first of all, the brain doesn't hurt for thinking that is a stupid idea and if it is true for you maybe you have a tumor and you are dying.
Second, if you want to concentrate get away from the people or things that get your attention.

Are you eating breakfast? Eat a balanced breakfast.
Do not, repeat, do not, go to class to play.
Open the book, keep your notebook handy, and keep taking notes.
Writing and listening is and execrcise in keeping your other impulses in check. Just keep writing notes, even if its everything the teacher is saying, it works.

but why???? just ty ur level best or try to have as much sleep as u can during the night and dont exceed the limit time for sleeping. and also that u shud have a rest when u return from skul! dat helps i bet u! try it!gud for ur health too!
