It's real, but as far as I know it is over, Story goes like this, Matt and Lita were engaged, Edge was married, Lita and Edge screwed, Lita left Matt, Edge left his wife, Lita and Edge are an item, Matt got pissed,Matt may or may not have punched Edge in the face, Matt got released from his contract was about to sign with TNA after his no work clause was up, Vince saw a potentialy huge storyline and hired Matt back , Matt is now dating Ashley Massaro, Lita retired to focus on music carreer.

I just think it sucks the way fans turned on both Edge and Lita because of it. As far as I'm concerned it's their lives. I agree with Lita when she said that she was under no obligation to the fans to be Matt's girlfriend.
Yes I am a Lita fan and I'm going to miss seeing her on Raw.

It is both.It happened in real life and wwe fired matt hardy after he put it up all over the internet but they later re-hired him and when he came back they turned the whole thing in a storyline
