What are you gathering that type of information in the first place? That's just gross your no detctive so stop acting like one. It serves you right to be prosecuted, the police just don't prosecute anyone they have to have evidence to back them up to prosecute you. So if your being prosected then that mean you had more than just a little infomation on your computer. Honestly what person would want to look that info. up anyways that's just disgusting. I believe that's your excuse, so you deserve to go to jail. It will teach you a leason to not look at child porn on your computer (that's what you say).

If you see child porn you give the link to the authorities. You don't download it and then show it to the authorities. How do they know you are being honest and not just some pervert who was caught by his wife or significant other and are trying to find a way to save face?

You should be publicly flogged , dragged around the streets tied behind a galloping horse then sent to prison for life and all your worldly belongings giving to charity . Yeah, you might want to pick another cause to collect information about, in order to pass it along to authorities. Give me a break, dude. How many times did you get your rocks off during your "research" for the authorities. You are coming off as a pedophile, even if in reality you are not.

You must understand that the Porno Mafia is stronger than the underworld.Thousands of million dollars are involved in the porno industry.They know how to book you.The auhtorities cannot book the mafia,so they will book you.Try to see some lawyer or middlemen so that you can get extricated from the situation.

Not if you are innocent of having it yourself. If you had it just to collect it, it would have been wise to inform the police before you started. Otherwise, what is to stop you being someone who had owned the porn and who thought they might be busted, so passed it over?

While your intentions have been for the better good, you cant deniy that you have had offencive material, or knowlege of the location to, on your computer. By that simple fact, im afraid you are guilty.
