So many times I've wanted to march up to the clowns at the front and pull them out of their cars and drive for them. I simply cannot understand why, when so many people are behind them, those losers at the front of the line just can't GOOOOO!!

I saw a show on how traffic slow downs move backward through traffic like a wave. So by the time you are slowed down in traffic the cause could be miles ahead where traffic is moving normally again.
Really pisses you off though once you start moving again and there is nothing there huh?

being nosy. most traffic jams come from people who like to slow down to see whats going on at the side of the road[maybe someone got in a car accident, or maybe construction work]. but when my mom is driving on the highway, we get backed up because people in the front are being nosy.

yes this ticks me off. Especially in Florida you have all the old and stupid people. I just want to smack eeryone who doesn't pull up to the intersection and lets the light change without going, or they partially pull up the light changes and then they are in 1/4 of the road for the oncoming traffic. So Stupid, can;t you see I own the road? Geez

You forget that those in front are suddenly obliged to slow down because of:
accidents
road construction
entering a much lower speed limit
objects on the road
fire, etc. etc.

talking on the cell phone
doing their makeup
changing their cd players
yelling at the kids in the backseat
