No, use a pillowcase with a shoelace tied around the top of it so the snake can't escape. They also make special made snake carrying bags with drawstrings.

You can also just a secure rubbermaid and poke a few holes in it, but the pillow case is better because it's dark, which will help your snake relax.

i would suggest that you use a transparent box because then you can see your snake at all times and make sure it is ok because if you use a garden hose, you could get your snake stuck and you might not see it again.and if you use an open pillow case, the snake could slither away. so i wouldn't recomend you use a garden hose as a snake carrier.

Yes a hose is a great carrying case for snakes. Some other useful household items for snakes are.....condoms - great for snake rain coats, & paper towel tubes - great for snake luggage ( when your snake goes on those long trips ).

I think the Lee's plastic carriers would work much better. I have several and they are just handy things to have around the house.

No, the best ''at home'' item to use for a snake carrier (other than a box), would be a pillow case.

No if you wanna make a home made pet carrier you'll wanna use PCP pipe, seal one end off then the other end make it able to open and close but make it so you can also lock it. then your gonna wanna give it a base.

No...Use a plastic box instead. Clear plastic recommended with a clasping lid.

Are you and idiot? Sure it sounds funny, but if you are actually serious..... maybe you should not own a snake.... try something like a Teddy bear, then work your way up. Deal?
