Your statement is a conditional statement and you're just stating that IF you do it and until you do I'm answering this question.
I will and state to you that the 10 points are free anyway. But I want to show-off to the person that I can do better than the other answerers for those so-called 10 points.
What caught my attention was, knowing you're an old pro, and wanting to know and to find out how you were gonna treat this always, used, tired statement to lure people to their question.

I would & I did. when i read: would you click on the link ? I said yes. i have nothing to loose. 2 points is better than no points. don't you agree ? so , i said to myself yes, click on that link and perhaps the other answers will stink. i'll be rewarded for free, oh how happy i'll be !!
