Hmm. I think maybe you mean "Forfarshire" , i.e., the former "Shire" or county area in Scotland which was administrated from the county town of Forfar.

It is now in the region of Angus.

Interesting historical town Forfar, with a history of witch burning which would rival , if not surpass, Salem.
