depending on your body type the slimmer you are the sooner, and opposite for bigger gals....but it mostly depends on little one, whenever they feel like kicking for joy, .....:-)

18-22 weeks. According to the pregnancy books I have, if you feel something before then, it is probably NOT the baby moving and is actually gas or something. They baby doesn't have the mobility yet to really kick around until around the 16th-18th weeks and then it is a matter of realixing what you are feeling.

Most people feel it between 18 and 22 weeks. I didn't feel my first until 23 weeks and my second until 21. Lots of people report it earlier than that though.

I my first movement at 16.5 weeks, but I was told that was "early." I felt it just about every day or every other day since then. (I am more full-figured, not thin).
If this is your first pregnancy, first movement is typically felt at around 18 to 20 weeks.
I am now in my 19th week, and I still feel it sporadically, once or twice or three times a day. More when I am laying down and quiet.

Generally between 18-22 weeks is when most women begin to feel fetal movement. It is soooo cool! I felt mine at what it seemed exactly 18 weeks. It can happen sooner or later though.
Congratulations!

I felt mine at 14 weeks. I know it was a little early but I am very skinny and petite. Depends on the woman's body. My doctor said that by 18 weeks you should start to feel something going on in there though. :) Good luck.

that all depends on the woman and how big the baby is.
i didnt feel my first born move until i was about 18 weeks, and my second moved at 8 weeks.
give it time, itll move, its the best feeling in the world when you feel them move for the first time.
congradulations.

anywhere from 20-28 weeks....at first they will feel like what people call "flutters" (I know your going..what the heck do flutters feel like..lol..I felt the same way when someone told me that..but when you do get the flutters..you will know what they are ;) ) then..after the flutters are present for a week or so..then your little bundle of joy starts beating the crap out of your bladder...or rib cage....or anything else they feel like beating up on lol ..good luck and CONGRATULATIONS.
