...8cm is 3 1/8 in inches...that's not high at all. I would say 4 or more inches for a heel in boots is too much, but not 3. You should be able to wear them anywhere, except for the snow or walking on an icy stairway.

I think black boots with high heels are very stylish if you have long legs and they are worn with a long skirt (unless you want to go for the sluttish look of course).

Sure they can be worn. I have a pair of 3 inch high heel black knee high boots and they are SEXY!

Most of my boot's have a 3" heel & as long as you can walk in them it shouldnt matter.

Sure. I have some exactly like that. Be careful what you wear them with though. Jeans and trousers are good. Skirts might be a bit too much.

up to 10 cm or 4" should be in most cases ok. it depends really on the outfit, occasion, weather...
