That's an EASY question - the single mom, of course!
Single mothers can handle any adversity, never panic under pressure, are masters of multitasking, can cook, clean, do first aid, do laundry, repair torn clothes, do basic household repair work and probably know how to grow food too! And they can help repopulate the world too (since they have the capacity to give live and to nurture those kids to maturity)
The High School Science teacher knows a lot of stuff, but can't do anything without a fully stocked school lab and the teacher's guide for the science textbook - if it isn't in there, they don't know how to do it (I know.. I'm a teacher!)
The teenage mechanic would be able to fix stuff, and be very energetic, but would also be very moody and unpredictable
The old war veteran might have post traumatic stress disorder, and might crack under pressure - or go bezerk and shoot me, or get us into needless fights with other survivors...
the Doctor would be good if I got hurt, but doctors are arrogant, bossy and hard to get along with, and, as knowledgeable as they are, they can't do much without a nurse and a fully stocked medical office or hospital
CEO's just know how to give orders - they're not good at doing actual WORK (they have EMPLOYEES and SERVANTS to do all of that for them!)
So the single mom is the way to go!
That was an easy two points - thanks!!!

It seems that no one has watched Gilligans' Island. The high school science teacher would be the best answer. The professor was the only one who knew how to construct things that were not only time savers, but also some things that were crucial to their survival. While most of you may think that a single-mom has the brute strength to survive, most of you do not realize that all she does is improvise and ask a bunch of questions. The science teacher would all ready have this knowledge with them. Now what I would really hope would be that the science teacher would also be a single mom.

That single mother has survived more heinous crap than all of the others combined. She is the obvious choice for me. The CEO is at the bottom of the list. Doctors are only useful with the full support of a high tech medical industry, so not much point there.

Well, assuming a mass casualty event where most of earth is depopulated of humans I have to choose a female if I am trying to repopulate earth. However, I do not like my species all that much so I might or might not. None is that great a choice, but depending on the education background the science teacher might not be a bad companion.

Definitely a doctor. The typical answer will be single mom. Please, they might be strugglin but theres a reason they got there and its because they or the people they chose to be with failed. So I (having watched Survivor man(GREAT SHOW)) would have some of necessary skills to survive in a chatostrophic event. I would choose the doctor who could attend to my medical needs as I help both of us survive the other things that get thrown at us. WE'D BE A GREAT TEAM!

I would sit tight where it's safe with my dog and send them all out in 3 groups to 1. find food and water (single mom and H.S Science teacher) 'cause single mom would be resourceful and science teacher can evaluate if they're at least safe to eat; 2. to build secured shelters and gather weapons (teenage mechanic and CEO) because teenage mechanic would be young, strong, and skillful and CEO would lend hands and experiences; and 3. to find others (old U.S Vet and Doctor) because old U.S vet would have fighting skills on their journey and Doctor can cure other survivors so they all can at least make it back to the base camp where I'd be coordinating all progresses.
