The song was released and reached number one in December and the video featured a nativity scene. It didn't make Christmas number one because of Band Aid. Because of this, it only really gets airplay at Christmas time and is lumped into the category Christmas songs.

This was out near Xmas 1984 I think, but the main reason I think is that the video for the song was based around the Nativity and the birth of Jesus.

Cos it was a big xmas no 1. Its like East 17 and stay another day, its on all the xmas albums cos its a christmassy sounding christmas number 1!

Dont know but the video for it had the three wise men going to see Jesus in the stable so it must have something to do with christmas

if u saw the video that goes with the song, u would understand why. the video depicts the nativity story, and the song was released at Christmas time..... think it was 1983 or 1984.......

It was released at an xmas single in 1985. The video is very xmassy, with the star and mary and joseph etc
