I am going to go to the Doctor soon but I am just curious for the time being. I am 23 and over the past 8 months or so I have gained weight steadily, my face breaks out all the time now (not badly...but I never used to), and I feel hungry 24/7..even after I eat I am hungry. This has never happened to me before. Is this a normal type of thing to happen to a woman? Is it something typical? Have any of you had this happen? I went from a size 5 to a size 10 in a matter of months, it is making me upset. I'm trying to cut down on eating but I'm so hungry. :-\ I feel crappy :-(

to add some details: I am on the pill, and I took a pregnancy test in October and no baby.... :-\ It is just scary to me because I was at a steady 'size' up until all this craziness started happening.

I think you should ask your doctor about poly cystic ovarian disease and if he will check your thyroid. Good Luck.

Sounds like you are just stressed out and that is what is making you eat. Wait and see what the Dr. says, but in the mean time, start exercising and drinking LOTS of water...and try to not let yourself eat every single time you are hungry. Exercise will pretty much instantly make you feel better too.

I suffer from PCOS now while I'm not hungry like you are my weight keeps going up if I'm not on medication. My face does break-out a lot. Ask your doctor about it and yes it could be hormonal. Stress and anxiety or depression could also have these effects. Its good your going to the doctor. Good luck to ya.

It could be a lot of things that are messing with your hormones, but that sounds like that's what's causing the symptoms. Or it could even be early stages of diabetes if it runs in your family. Have the doc check your a1c blood sugar as well as hormone levels, better safe than sick.
