As a centaur has a horse body with a human torso and head, this is a deer body with a human torso and head. What is it called? Also, does anyone which myth this particular beast fit into? Thanks!

Some people seem to refer to them as 'deer-centaurs'. I've seen that sometimes the definition of a centaur is half-breed with the upper body of a man and the lower body of a horse or deer. Unless your talking about a Satyr which has the lower body of a goat but I think they only have 2 legs.

I found something about a Qilin in Chinese myth, it doesnt mention a human torso tho:

Qilin
In Chinese mythology, a kind of unicorn whose rare appearance often coincides with the imminent birth or death of a sage or illustrious ruler. Appearances could also indicate the benevolence of living emperors. A qilin has a single horn on its forehead, a yellow belly, a multicoloured back, a horse's hooves, a deer's body, and an ox's tail. Legend has it that a qilin appeared to the pregnant mother of Confucius.

ALLOWAT-SAKIMA: The Great Spirit. He's Top God and rules over all. Has the legs of a swiftly running deer, and wears an awful lot of eagle feathers.

OR

THEP-NORSINGHA: Thai Critter.
Whatever it is it has a long tail. The upper part is humanish but down below it is a female deer. And they have possible breeding capacity, which means the Thai Critter can also be human with and lions body.

I think that you mean a satyr or faun---torso and head of a man, legs and hooves of a goat.
