broken/fractered nose?

Question

a few days ago i got into a fight and got punched in the nose

is it broken?

my nose has swollen just a bit and i have a visible bruise under my right eye and a minor bruise under my left eye

i don't get nosebleeds

when the punch came to my face i went and looked in the mirror and saw that it was crooked but not much

then the next day the slight crookedness of my nose had been gone

as for the guy who punched me, all i came say is that it was a sucker punch/cheap shot and that i made that idiot cry at school

well the cheap shot was this

he was walking away and then turned fast and punched me in the nose and kept on walking away

if he had testicles he would have stayed there

I had the same thing happen to me when I was screwing around with my buddies in college. I noticed after that my nose was (and still is) slightly bent to the left. Cosmetically you can barely notice it, but if you would want it straightned they would have to actually break your nose again and reset it. (Not considering that since it would be probably be treated as cosmetic and would not be covered under your insurance) Unless it was blocking your breathing, or causing sinus troubles etc. Mine is still the same way it was. He must not have hit you that hard otherwise it would still be noticable and crooked.

First off, everyone that gets belted in the nose always claims it was a cheap shot! Fact is there are no cheap shots in fighting! You got your *** waxed! I think whats really broken is your pride! ROFL

I had my nose broken once and blood spurted like a hose all over the person who socked me by mistake!

Go talk to the school counsleor... If you were making him cry... maybe you deserved to get hit in the face.... YEah For the UNDERDOG!!!
