I am catholic and my aunt is a nun. I felt so guilty after sleeping with my boyfriend... But I was happy at the same time....

The thing is, if you want to marry someone, its better if you have sex with him... If you really want it, you know you love him, then its right. If anyone accepts it or not, some marriages can be broken by not-understanding each other in bed... It IS an important part of the relationship. You might find out that your man is very egoistic in bed and your ideals disappear... or on the other hand, you can find out you really love it and you realise you want to marry the person even more, because when making love, you prove the other person how much you love him..

Also, I dislike if someone says "sex before marriage is just lust" - its not!!! People, dont be stupid! People who are not married and love each other CAN actually make love because they love each other! Marriage is just a step, it doesnt change the lust into love!

Hopefully you are speaking of the two of you having premarrital sex with each other and not different partners! If so, then you need to sit down and evaluate your points of view with one another on the subject. In my opinion, the benefits come in when you are both in agreement on the subject. Whether you have sex now or wait for marriage it will come down to how you feel in your head about it. If you are truly in love then you will both enjoy the sex with one another now or later.

To some people it might be beneficial and to a lot of people it wouldn't be beneficial. They say people should be friends first and lovers second. You should enjoy talking to each other because talk is all you'll have when you get old, so they say (I'm not that old yet).

Absolutely not. BUT... the patience and waiting is beneficial for lovers who are going to get married in the near future. Guaranteed.

No. It is a fact of life for most couples, but there is no benefit I know of. The bonding that happens because of waiting for the marriage is more beneficial. Sorry to burst your bubble, and best wishes on the marriage.

Personally, I think so.

In fact, I believe that it should be required for couples to live together for at least a year before getting married. There is a big difference between dating and actually sharing the same house. I believe in a trial marriage period for at least a year with a no fault escape clause for either party.

No, not all....leaves no anticipation for the wedding night, and that is really a special time! Starting off a relationship without moral compass can also add to problems throughout the marriage as well. My opinion =) Prayers

I am not sure about anyone else but I can tell you I wouldn't marry someone without having sex first......what if it is horrible? Sex is a big part of marriage.....being sexually compatiable is very important.....if you don't like having sex with your spouse chances are you will look somewhere else eventually.

It will only let you go into the marrage already experienced, so therefore you won't be so clueless when you marry. Whatever, I still don't want to participate and let myself be an experiment or practice dummy for someone else's benefit.

Would you buy a car without driving it first?

Before you marry anyone, be sure to know AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE about them, I mean every facet of life. Anything less will come up as a bombshell later. Trust me.
