Depends on what you are looking for. If you want information about upcoming games, I recommend ign.com, gamespot.com, teamxbox.com, us.playstation.com, and nintendo.com
If you just want a game related message board, I recommend Jamazon. It started off as a message board on Amazon.com back in 2002. When Amazon finally shut it down in favor of smaller message boards on each product page, we created our own board. We've been discussing video games for several years...

I'd have to say it's a toss-up between uktrainsim.com and trainsim.com. Techincally, these are add-on sites, but they sure have enhanced my MSTS (Microsoft Train Simulator) experience.
P.S. Miniclip.com and Heavygames.com are pretty high on the list too.
