The State should take over and have them sterilized, before they are even released!

Absolutely NOT. Unless the child went wacko and tried to kill them and the parent had to kill their own child in self defense.

There are some cases where Judges have ordered a man or woman be sterilized after committing such crimes as murder against their children. A couple got thrown out in Supreme Court.

Good Luck and Take Care

First, they should not ever be allowed to roam the streets again. Second, no, they should not ever have kids again, but, the government cannot come in and start sterilizing people. Where would they draw the line? I for one, don't trust the government enough to give them that kind of power. Good Luck!!

I say toast them!!! I could never even imagine hurting my child or even my pet so tell me how somebody who does that could ever be cured.

Absolutely not. First of all, they should not be getting out of prison. You murder your kids you go away for life. Secondly, its kind of obvious they don't have the skills needed to parent a child because...well, they killed their first one. People like that ought to be shot instead of jailed. It would save a lot of money if we just took them out behind the shed and put a couple bullets in their head. Thanks and have a nice day.

they shouldn't but unfortunately they are. However, typically in that case, terms of release usually state they can never be in contact with anyone under the age of 18, if they are to have more children they are to be removed from their care immediately.
But honestly if they were put in the electric chair to begin with, we wouldn't have to worry about them having more!

If they murdered someone they would most likely get life, but if they ever did get released for some weird reason, then no.

they should be treated first with their mental condition. if the case
is not treatable anymore then they are not in a position to have more children. they will be a liability to the society.

"Why should they ever be released?".

Echo that statement. In essence, no. Forced sterilization? That's a touchy one...too hot to take on in reality.
