I just bought 100 tiny meal worms for my fire bellied toads and newt. I'm going to put them in a tiny kritter kit and need to know what to give them to eat. Thanks

Anything :)
I make up a substrate for them, that they live in and eat.
It consist of corn starch, oats, flake fish food, dry pablum, and some vitamin and calcium powder. I also throw in some potato, carrot, kale, or whatever, for watery foods and additional vitamins.

Also, if you don't feed them to your toads / newt, they will eventually turn into beetles. They take a while to breed, but it's easy and not very stinky to do.

We always used a mix of corn flakes and corn meal. If you do breed them, make sure to have a screen on top because we had another form of moth get in a breed along side of them...The flying moth ended up everywhere in the house.

I always used yellow corn meal for my meal worms and super worms. Be sure to put fresh potato slices in with them when they start to dry out.

I used to grow meal worms in school and I believe that we fed mainly corn flakes, but I think you could add anything starchy.

We always put in pieces of raw potatoes. It gives them their food and water all in one. They can eat just about anything.
